D.C. Amends Sales Tax on Utilities In Hotel, Restaurant Processing and Refrigeration

The D.C. Council enacted emergency legislation (A19-0505) to amend the Processing Sales Tax Clarification Act of 2010 to provide that the act shall apply as of Jan. 1, 2010, provided that its fiscal effect “is included in an approved budget and financial plan.”
